POPDump [32|64bit] [2022-Latest]

===================
POPDump retrieves all e-mail messages from a POP3 mailbox and stores the data in a local file. The e-mails are listed based on the date they were received and the sender. Each message has a line which indicate information about the message. The line may indicate the date and time the message was sent, the subject and the size of the attached file. To get the functionality of POPDump you need Microsoft POP3 access (getmail) and Perl (Mail::IMAP) libraries.
Theoretically the POP3 server might give you e-mails faster than the FTP server transfers the local files to the local host. In this case it is important to have more than one host to prevent the local host to be slowed down by the FTP transfer. If the speed difference is too big you might want to write the e-mails down while they are still transfered and then to access the data after the POP3 client has finished.
The application may be installed on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003 Server. POPDump is written in Perl and uses the Python SQLite library. It requires the VLC multimedia player.

POPDump is used to download e-mail messages from a mail server (POP3) through a reverse proxy service provided by the SMTP/POP3 interface such as Litmus or Sympatico. POPDump can transfer all messages from all sessions. The POP3 session does not have to be the default session. POPDump uses SMPT protocol and standard MIME message format to accomplish the transfer. Messages are saved to a local directory. The message data is compressed and split by the Message-ID into separate messages. See [META_DATA] below for further information.

What’s New in the POPDump?

POPDump is simple, powerful and easy-to-use tool. The tool can be used to retrieve e-mails from a POP3 server. Mailboxes are sorted in a directory structure and e-mails from the current directory are exported to EML files. The output can be configured by specifying the output filename and directory. The tool can also be used to send e-mails, using the’mail’ command, to selected e-mail accounts. Additionally, POPDump is scriptable, allowing the creation of a suite of applications that can be run from the command line.
Examples
Example 1: Retrieve all e-mails from the current mailbox
$ popdump -r > popdump_%i.eml
Example 2: Retrieve all e-mails from the current directory, save into popdump_%i.eml, and send to one of the configured e-mail addresses
$ popdump -r -d popdump_%i -s email@domain.com
Example 3: Retrieve all e-mails from the current mailbox, save into popdump_%i.eml, and send to multiple e-mail addresses
$ popdump -r -d popdump_%i -s email@domain.com -s email@domain2.com
