Log in to Learn How to Resize Images
First thing you want to do, when you are new to this program, is to make sure you can control the size of an image. There are a few easy ways to adjust an image’s size, but the most common is to right click (or control click) on the image you want to resize, then select: Resize Image
Can’t right click? You can control click, or tap with two fingers, on the image window.
How to Convert Images for the Web
Web-ready images come in several formats. The most common formats are.jpeg,.png, and.gif. No matter what format you are saving an image as, the most important thing to consider when you are going to use the image on a website is how to optimize it for the web.
When it comes to saving images, the biggest difference between a jpeg and a png is that a.jpg is commonly a very large file size and.png files are smaller and require less time to load on a web server. Also, jpegs are much better when you are trying to squeeze as much image as possible into the file size.
When saving images for the web, the process is exactly the same as when you were saving images for use on a web page. Just choose a format to save in, right click on it and choose Save As:
Once you are done saving the file, go to File > Save
Can’t right click? Use two fingers with the mouse instead.
How to Optimize an Image for the Web
You can optimize an image a few different ways depending on the site you are using it on.
All your images get the same treatment, since they are all going to the same place. If it’s going to a
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a metering drum seal of an improved type having a multi-layered multi-surface configuration. More particularly, it relates to such seals which have a unique multi-layered configuration which provides a high degree of lubricity between the different layers to provide a very effective water-tight and water-lubricated seal.
2. Description of the Related Art
Dry-metering type rotary drums used to meter the quantity of material being dispensed from a feed screw, gearbox or other similar device are well known in the art. Such drums typically have a multi-layered configuration which is adapted to carry a quantity of lubricating oil disposed between the various layers.
In the past the seal configuration for such drums consisted of either a single layer configuration or a multi-layer configuration with only one or two layers of seals. The single layer configurations were found to be unsatisfactory because the surface hardness of the outer layer, which comes into contact with the seal seating surface, was very low. This outer layer has to be a low-hardness material to allow for compression of the layers when the drum is pressed together during packing. Additionally, the absence of a true rocker type, or multi-shaped-lens, configuration may lead to lower seal loading, because the surface hardness of the overall seal may not be sufficient to lock the cover onto the shell, with the result that the cover slides back and forth along the shell. This can be seen in FIG. 4 of U.S. Pat. No. 4,168,503 and the seal in FIG. 6 of U.S. Pat. No. 4,664,784.
The multi-layer configuration has significant advantages as indicated above. However, in the past, the multi-layer configuration has had a single layer of oil metering that has been laminated to a second surface which is oil-tight, and has a third lubricating surface that is in contact with the seal seating surface. The oil-tight layer is present to contain the lubricant and maintain the oil in position during use, while the third surface is present to provide a very effective seal with the metal seating surface.
Two major disadvantages of the single layer configuration is the lack of oil, and the lack of a true rocker type configuration, or an effective multi-layer configuration. This is especially true when the seal is assembled in the shell by fastening a circular support member over the single seal ring
How to install custom module in Drupal 8 through my local machine?
I am creating my first custom module in Drupal 8.
I created a module which was not installed through Drupal core installer. I installed through Drush.
But when I tried to load my module through my site, it shows “The Site Name” and not my module name. It should be loaded as “my-module” not “The Site Name”
The problem is core installer is not available in my local machine.
On local machine, you should install it through composer, as there is no other way to install it.
This is the link to the documentation on this.
As a matter of fact, I would argue that you should not use Drush in your local machine. If you want to install modules, you can simply use composer.
Here are some official documentation about it.
Minimally invasive repair of thoracolumbar burst fracture with sacrospinous fixation.
To present preliminary clinical results of minimally invasive stabilization and decompression (MISSD) for thoracolumbar burst fracture by percutaneous sacrospinous fixation. From July 2009 to April 2011, we performed the surgery on 10 thoracolumbar burst fractures in 9 patients (aged 31-61 years) with the surgical method of MISSD. The clinical results were evaluated using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Mallet classification, and EuroQOL 5-dimension (EQ-5D) with visual analog scale (VAS) for pain. The procedure was successful in all cases without intraoperative complications, and mean operative time was 164 min (range: 130-190 min). The mean follow-up duration was 8.8 months (range: 6-14 months). NRS, ODI, and Mallet classification improved significantly after surgery, from 5.1 ± 1.1 to 2.0 ± 1.0 (P < 0.01), from 71.3 ± 2.2 to 14.6 ± 2.1 (P < 0.01), and from 1.9 ± 0.3 to 0.5 ± 0.2 (P < 0.01), respectively. The mean EQ-5D index and V
