livermore regional airport in livermore, california. (superb scenery that is virtually impossible to be modded by the work of “the dxl crew”.) the aerodrome is well detailed, including the modern terminal. an excellent site for takeoff and landing, with the runway entrance clearly visible from the taxiway. the airport has 3 runway units of 19,000 ft in length and 18,000 ft wide.
all the buildings are highly detailed and the precision landing-flaps is the perfect finishing touch! the runway is 100 feet wide. this is an absolute great scenery which you don’t need much to be happy.
some tips: runway and taxiway are easily correctable by hand, as the correct textures are editable in the main files. after installation of the scenery and for the first time use you need to click on the button for the “create default shaders” from the main menu.
for custom fields, you need to click the button “load custom fields” from the “personalisation > custom fields” menu, in the main window.
a fantastic looking airport on the ground and in the air. this scenery has been created using the latest in scenery technology and
combinations of textures and lighting effects that make the airport look and work like no other.
runway, taxiways and apron all are the most realistic of all current airports.
the runway is represented as a solid white object, but it can be changed to a solid blue runway using the “livermore dtu” materials file that is included with this scenery.
the light source used is the sun set rather than the sun rising which makes the ground blend in perfectly with the sky.
