You’re used to having a quick view of your files, to rearranging and moving files, just as you would on a desktop. So we thought we’d apply those techniques to AutoCAD and let people make sense of their file wherever they are.”

The Appropriate app is one of the first application created with Simonoff’s notion of the “task-management app.” By incorporating the mobile interfaces from the App Store, he has applied the familiar features of these mobile apps—like drag-and-drop file management and quick-look viewing—to AutoCAD. “But the reason we made this app a hybrid app is that we wanted to take the user experience even further,” said Simonoff. “I wanted to make it really easy for users to work with their CAD file on their mobile device and take advantage of this hybrid of desktop and mobile interface.”

Add VirtualDirectory to ASP.NET application

I have an ASP.NET web application. I have two sites within this application which are using different applications. One of these sites uses a custom ASP.NET MVC application (the other site is an ASP.NET web application).
I would like to add a virtual directory so that I can route the “dashboard” site which is the ASP.NET application into the application’s URL and then into the custom ASP.NET MVC application.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in ASP.NET the name of the page is the root of the application by default. When the user tries to access the site, they will get a “localhost” page that is mapped to the root of your application (it is hidden behind the “localhost” but in the end the only difference is what page they get).
Instead you should use a sub directory of the ASP.NET application for this site.
