Multicentric reticulohistiocytosis (MR) is an uncommon but distinct clinical and histopathologic entity. It is characterized by the presence of multinodular skin rash in association with arthritis, pleuritis, myositis, fever, and weight loss. Many of the skin lesions of MR are similar to those of Letterer-Siwe disease, a similar disease also characterized by arthritis, fever, lymphadenopathy, and skin lesions. MR is considered a benign skin disease in most cases, although there are reports of a fatal course of illness. Treatment in most cases is symptomatic and cosmetic. The present invention relates to the art of plating, and more particularly to a process for plating fibrous webs of cellulose with a metal.
At present, cellulose fibrous webs, such as cotton fabrics, cannot be satisfactorily electroplated. This is because the surface properties of cellulose fibrous webs do not make them suitable for electroplating. In fact, one of the reasons for the presence of a non-conductive, acidic layer on the surface of a cellulose fibrous web is its unwillingness to electroplate. This acidic layer usually consists of a fluorocarbon resin. Electroplating of cellulose fibers is also resisted by the hydrophilic nature of the fibers which results in poor emulsion coverage and blistering of the coating.
In spite of the problems encountered in electroplating cellulose fibers, a number of processes for plating cellulose fibers with a metal are known. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 3,532,545 discloses a process for plating an organic hydrophilic material with a metal. The process disclosed in this patent includes the steps of immersing the material in an aqueous solution of a fatty acid having at least 30 carbon atoms containing a cation and the metal cation, separating the plating solution from the material, and plating the material. The patent further discloses that the fatty acid may be a stearic or oleic acid.
Another process for plating cellulose fibers is disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 3,910,580. This patent discloses treating a cellulose fiber with a solution containing an alkali metal, such as potassium, and a fatty acid, such as oleic acid. The fiber is then washed with water and

Photoshop is the successor to tools created by Adobe in the 1970s. The original Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign used a directed drawing tool that was similar to charcoal or charcoal pencil. The PS brush was a type of Photoshop brush and was developed in the early 1990s.
On May 7, 1998, Adobe published Photoshop 2.0, which merged the separate Illustrator and Photoshop packages into one. The same month, Internet Explorer 4 was released.
A beta version was made available, and the official release came out just over six months later, in February 1999.
By April of the same year, it had become possible to buy Photoshop at most major electronics or computer stores. By 1999, a Windows version of Photoshop had become the standard.
The version history for all versions of Photoshop has been available since the release of Photoshop 5.0.
